Wedded Bliss

So guess what everyone....I am....Married! WHooooo! And so very happy. Also I know have a new house to clean like crazy! Their is so much still to do. I need to finish up the kitchen, clean the floors, and the most daunting, organize the craft room and closet.
I just heard that my new husband's tire blew out on his way to a job. So I guess my father-in-law is going to tow him back. Now I'm just sitting hear eating the very last of the delicious wedding pie, and feeling useless. Oh well, at least I can have some delicious lo main and fried rice for him when he gets back. :)
Currently ma cat, curious about her new surroundings is climbing everywhere, over the computer towers, the couch, and on the chairs. At least she know not to go on the tables where their are small computer parts. When I get the pictures from my lovely photographer I will post some more. But hear are some for now.

Graduate? I think so.

Ya, I graduated, that's right. Whoop Whoop! I have bean asked how it feels to be out of high-school. I could say the typical things, but I'm not really feeling them. I think that it's mostly the fact that I only took two easy afternoon electives (and volunteered in the library, Love you Ladies,) that I didn't particularly always need to go. I'm feeling basically the same other than some stress has gone, which is very, very good. Now I can just focus on the wedding. Today I realized that my address will be different, I will need to change my name, and Oh My Goodness! I get to be married to the most amazing person Ever! I keep realizing this, (I think I need I need reminded. If you've ever read Sunshine by Robin McKinley, it's like how she wont forget what happened, but it keeps coming back to her and it get more real every time. It's like that, but wonderful instead of horrifying.) and I think it just gets better each time I do. Also I am supper happy to finally meet my Future sister and grandmother-in-law's.
Overall, I'd say this has bean a great week so far, other than the boredom that comes with boring people talking about things that have little relevance to my life at graduation. I can safely say that most every one at graduation was board out of their minds. (I wounder if I could have snuck in my nook. I think so.) Thank goodness for cellphones. However the party was great. Thank you everyone for the encouragement, wishes, and gifts. They are all greatly appreciated.
Have a supper fantastic rest of the week!
(I just wanted to put a bunny at the end. te-he)

As you may have guessed by the blatant lack of posts, particularly that of new recipes, I have bean busy. Very, very busy. My main focus right now is getting my house put together. In that process I have bean day dreaming of my future elfin castle, deep in the mists of the forests..... And I read to much. But, I digress, far to much. Almost to much for my own good... Almost, but not quite.  Any hoo, here are some neat things I have come across on my computer adventures.
I have bean falling in love with bathtubs that are located in a central area.

I love this idea, and it is something I can do in my home,

I think this would be so much fun. But it would be even better if it was up in a tree, with a ladder to it.

I love outdoor spaces, and this is no exception.

this would be cool, if I had enough rooms for a Jacob to have a study. Then this would be my little nook in said study.

Beautiful. Need I say more?

This hammock need to be outside, surrounded by trees.

If could pull off a castle look like this with my house... lovely.

Well, thats a bit of my daydream land. Have a great weekend. Graduations are coming!

Vampire for a night part 2

I won the book! Whoop whoop! So what do I get exactly? Well here is a refresher.

This book, which sounds like it will be amazing, signed by the author, July Kagawa.
You can find the post that has the announcement here.
On another note I am supper excited about a new book that I read called enchanted by

Alethea Kontis. It was magical and actually quite enchanting. It was a girl meats frog, girl kisses frog, frog turns into prince, and la tee da with a bit of a twist. Ok, a lot of a twist...but still. It was GREAT! Find more about it here

Enchanted
I mean seriously, isn't this cover beautiful?
Have a great day everyone! Oh, and my dad want's me to tell you that he is now an award winning author. :)

Vampire for a Night

Julie Kagawa (Author of the Iron Fay series and the immortal rules series) is having a contest for a book signed by her. I was super excited. Can we say fun? Oh ya. I took the quiz to see what kind of vampire I am and it said that I am unregistered and that I survive by scavenging on the fringes. Thus, I went with it. We made it a bit urban decay-ie with a bit of polluted looking air kind of thing. My dad plays Fallout so that's more of what he was able to envision when I was explaining what I knew of the story. Unfortunately I haven't read the book...yet. I will once I can get my hands on one and once school is out and I cant become distracted with all the shiny new library books. Te-he.
this is my favorite and my main picture for the competition.
Like the tribal tattoo? The symbol in the middle might be familiar to you if you look closer at the book cover.
We went down to the old abandoned rail station so that we could get that "urban decay" feel.
Look into my eyesssss! you will give me a prize..... (evil vampire chuckle)

Fallout baby! Vampires could so rule that game!
Well, that's the end, after three locations and many, many interesting looks from people, I think we came up with some terrific photos. Have a great week everyone.

Great news

Hey, so yes I have bean neglecting my blog, but with good reason. I have bean so busy and, well....I'm getting married in a little over a month. So...ya, lots to do. Here are some neat ideas that me and my cousin have bean looking up and conjuring up.
lemon aid and mint water in mason jars, but we are going to put them in a  big wooden fruit basket thing. We are going to have Orange blossom and rose water to flavor them.

paper cones to hold tossing flowers, and put these in a big wicker basket for people to pick up.

different types of bottles and containers/vases to hold flowers for the tables, by the guest book, etc.
old picture frames with pictures of us, to use for the bridal shower also.
different types of branches (willow, those curly things) to use with fabric on tables and the fence and other places that you would bunch and hang the fabric.
the ceremony is going to be on the patio, so I want to do something like the front part to make the awning look pretty.
the seating is going to be woodden benches that my grandpa made and strawbales with afghans on top.

I have so many other ideas, but I'll post those later, maybe, if I have time.
